On The Fourth Turning of Buddhism – 4.9.14

In this teleseminar, John Dupuy talks about the recent conference on the fourth turning of Buddhism that he and Pam attended. He shares with us a message of Ken Wilber which is that the fourth turning is basically applying the Integral map to Buddhism by looking at all four quadrants.

Some questions in this teleseminar include:

  • “How long do I do the Releasing Track (of Profound Meditation Program 3.0) before I move on to the next disc?”
  • “I’m pretty new to all this, and of course, I’m a little lost. I don’t know where to start purchasing and so on.”
  • “About the shadow work when you were at Ken’s talk and talking about the AQAL – I’m wondering if shadow work is something that needs to be done interpersonally with other people or if it’s something that is effectively done by ourselves on the mat in meditation? Is it the kind of thing that if relationships have wounded you, then relationships will heal you? Or can you heal yourself outside of relationships?”
