I continue to experience consistent and profound moments of joy while listening to the tracks and typically have multiple endorphin rushes… I am very grateful and excited to report that the positive feelings do linger long after the listening is done and that I do feel a great sense of motivation and optimism after listening…It is a great way to start the day!   ~ Scott Lillich

Gamma-Burst

Motivation • Energy • Intense Focus

Gentle ocean waves roll in and out providing an energizing yet centered entrainment. This can be used as a meditation or while you are working, exercising, or studying.

I was extremely motivated and active this last week. I started a new schedule, and I work more effectively. It has actually brought me a better income this week. Things are getting more done, and while I work and don’t slumber and waste time. The ideas seem to flow faster Solutions and creativity come faster.   ~ Samuel Tornquist

The Story of the Development of Gamma-Burst  from the creator, Eric Thompson

Gamma-Burst features, among other things, gamma brainwaves. For those who are familiar with the neuroscientific research on meditation, gamma brainwaves will be familiar particularly because they were found in Tibetan Buddhist monks who were practicing compassion meditation.

But, for those who aren’t familiar with this, gamma brainwaves are very fast brain waves. Among the different brainwave categorizations recognized in neuroscience, they’re among the fastest. When gamma brainwaves are coherent, they are often associated with very high degrees of information processing, very high levels of concentration.

So, if you’ve ever been in a situation where maybe there was an emergency, maybe you were in a car accident and at that particular time, you noticed that when things kind of went wrong, you were in such a super focused state that you were able to handle whatever came your way as if by grace. It seemed like time stopped and you were just taking care of things moment after moment after moment with a really precise sense of action to the point that when you look back, you’re like, “How did I do that?” Well, that’s often those gamma brainwaves kicking in.

In fact, gamma brainwaves have been theorized by some neuroscientists to be involved in what’s called the “binding factor” or the “binding problem” in neuroscience. Neuroscience still doesn’t fully understand what allows the brain to be completely unified and to bring all these disparate, sensory data together in one holistic, coherent picture and experience. It is believed that gamma brainwaves play a large role in that.

This program really taps into those. There are three 20-minute tracks, so it’s cut off into very doable, little tracks. Obviously, you’ll get the most out of this technology – if you’ve only got 20 minutes, if you’ll sit with eyes closed. With any type of entrainment technology, you get better results if you’re using it with your eyes closed because that reserves more of your attention in the moment so that the entrainment stimulus can entrain more of your neural processes going on. However, it can also be listened to while you do other things. You’ll just get better results if you listen to it as a kind of seated meditation or quiet time.

How to Use

Download the iAwake App

First, download the FREE iAwake App, login with your email and all your tracks will be right there. You can stream them, but we’d advise downloading them (from within the app) to ensure an interruption-free experience, and to be able to listen offline.

Play Gamma-Burst  at a comfortable volume through loudspeakers in the background: Your whole environment will be infused with the subtle energetic frequencies of calm, energized focus and clarity.

Listen to Gamma-Burst  with headphones: Listening to Gamma-Burst with headphones provides the optimal effect for increasing focus, energy and balance.

Technology

Target Brainwaves

Track 1 entrains from low beta to low gamma (12-35 Hz)

Track 2 entrains to from low gamma to mid gamma (55 Hz)

Track 3 entrains from mid gamma to high gamma (75 Hz)

There are 20-minute chunks, and the first track ramps up to 35 Hz which is right about where gamma starts to kick in. The second track ramps up to 55 Hz and the third track ramps up to 75 Hz. These are very fast brainwave patterns.

Gamma-Burst is a delight to listen to. One of the first time’s I listened to Gamma-Burst I sat and watched a sunset and I was transfixed. I was experiencing repeated waves of joyfulness and could feel tons of energy in my mind and body, with occasional tingles of ecstasy throughout my spine and body. I have also noticed major intensification of non dual consciousness during and after listening to this recording, and this has inspired me in my writing about the subject of ‘non duality’ or awareness.

Specific to Gamma Burst is it’s ability to charge the body with energy. So not only do I find this recording excellent at waking me up in the mornings and cycling to work, but it also means I am more social, upbeat, and positive in all my dealings with people. In fact I would go as far to say that Gamma Burst makes me a more confident and gregarious person!   ~ Jamie Vasilyan

It has served like a very powerful change agent. It seems like every blockage / resistance to work I’ve ever had has come up in force during the testing period, to be embraced and released. It hasn’t been a comfortable ride, and I’ve needed each and every releasing & state management tool I’ve ever learned, but it’s worked.   ~ Carsten Christiani
