Vanessa is iAwake’s Customer Service Manager and Digital Commerce Platform Manager. She also provides support with editing and administration. Vanessa graduated with a degree of Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of the Philippines, Diliman. She has worked in various customer support roles that allowed her to live in different places: Manila and Palawan, Philippines; Dubai, UAE; and Dammam, KSA. Her last corporate job before iAwake Technologies was as a Human Resources Specialist and Recruitment Analyst for InterContinental Hotels Group in Baguio City, the summer capital of the Philippines, where she has lived for 10 years. Now, she is at a new chapter in her life where she explores being a digital nomad and alternates being based in Manila and Singapore while traveling to other places that she hopes to experience.
She has been working for iAwake Technologies since July 2012 and considers herself blessed to have found a company that she will stay with for a long time.
Vanessa is passionate about traveling – whether it’s solo or with her husband (and sometimes with their furbabies, a Miniature Schnauzer and an adopted mixed-breed dog), family, and friends. She also discovered a love for yoga and dreams of taking yoga teacher training to be able to teach and share her love for yoga with others.
